This string quintet piece was composed in the spring of 2013. One could say that these "tunnels" represent my psyche at the time, but I'm honestly not that deliberate. There is certainly a dark element here with a sense of resolution. "Tunnels" seemed like an appropriate name. I don't really know where the piece came from. I think I was just trying to write a tango tune and it didn't work out.
Recordings will be released for streaming one at a time in 2014. Downloads will be made available when this album is complete.
